Why Krizma

A bookshelf the size of your neighbourhood

Everything shipping in v1, built around one idea: the book you want is probably already on a shelf near you.

Distance-first feed

Every listing is ranked by how far it actually is from you. Pull the radius in to your street or push it out across the city. The feed re-sorts live, and each card shows the exact distance.

A real catalogue

Thousands of titles, authors and publishers already indexed, including a deep Sindhi and Urdu collection. Pick your book, don't retype it.

Chat that knows the book

Every conversation opens with the listing attached, so nobody asks "which one?". Photos, voice notes, read receipts and typing indicators included.

Meet safely

Verified phone badges, block & report on every profile, and location privacy that can show your distance without ever showing your address.

See who's interested

Saves, profile views and book views land in your Alerts inbox the moment they happen, so you know which listing is actually working.

Reads the way you read

Full interface in English, Urdu, Sindhi and German, with right-to-left layouts and proper Nastaliq and Sindhi typefaces rather than a fallback that mangles your script.

How it works

From "I've finished this" to handed over

Three steps. No listings fees, no shipping labels, no waiting for a courier.

  1. 1

List it in about a minute

Search the catalogue, snap a photo of your copy, then choose how you're offering it: sell, exchange, give away, or all three at once.

  2. 2

    Nearby readers see it

Your book enters the feed of everyone in range whose genres and languages match, and pings anyone whose saved alerts it answers.

  3. 3

    Agree in chat, meet up

Message the reader, settle the price or the swap, then pick a spot. Pro members can jump straight to an audio or video call.

Questions

Before you sign up

Is Krizma free?

Yes. Listing, browsing, saving and chatting are free with no cut of your sales. Krizma never touches the money, so you settle it in person. Krizma Pro is an optional subscription for calls, boosted listings and viewer insights.

Does Krizma handle payment or delivery?

No, and that's deliberate. Krizma is about the reader two streets away, so you agree the price in chat and hand the book over yourself. No fees, no shipping, no escrow to wait on.

How exact is the location you show?

You choose. The default shows an approximate area label plus a distance. You can hide the area entirely and show only "3.4 km away". Your precise coordinates are never shared with other users.

What languages does the app support?

The interface ships in English, Urdu, Sindhi and German, with full right-to-left layout and dedicated Nastaliq and Sindhi typefaces. Book listings can be in any language, and the catalogue already carries thousands of Sindhi and Urdu titles.

Can a bookshop or publisher use it?

Yes. Business accounts let publishers and stores list their stock for sale to nearby readers. Business accounts sell only, so they don't exchange or give away.

When does it launch?

We're opening one city at a time so every feed has real books in it from the first day. Join the waiting list and tell us your city. The more readers waiting somewhere, the sooner we switch it on.
